Scholarship Program

The scholarship offered annually by SWMS is available to graduating high school seniors and college students who have a career objective of employment in the natural sciences or engineering. It is available to students from Cowlitz, Lewis and Wahkiakum counties in Washington and Columbia county Oregon. Annual scholarships are $500 however a student may also apply for an additional award of $1500 upon declaration of a major field of study in their junior year of college. Awards are determined by the SWMS scholarship committee. A Top grade-point average is not the only criteria for a winning applicant.
